SLALEY FARM FOR FUTURE WELCOME MEETING & SFI UPDATE

This is the last chance to access FREE support from The Royal Countryside Fund through their Farm for the Future programme.  The Farmer Network is one of the deliverers of the programme in Northumberland and last autumn set up a group in the Allendale area with farmers benefitting from a series of workshops and one to one support.  Topics included environmental schemes, business planning topics chosen by the group that included BNG and grassland and soils.

We are now recruiting for a new group that will be based at Slaley.  Find out more at a Welcome meeting, at The Travellers Rest, Slaley on Wednesday 11^th September 6.30pm.  Veronica Waller of the Farmer Network will be giving an update on SFI 2024 and provide more details about what Farm for the Future might offer your business.  This will then be followed by a full Environment Schemes workshop on the 26^{th of} September.
