If you’re aged 18–40 and looking to start or grow a farming business, this programme gives you the skills, confidence and support to make it happen — with the chance to apply for a £750 grant. This workshop focuses on business planning, including practical guidance on tenancy applications and costings. You’ll hear from Alice Fawcett (H&H Land and Estates and Pennine Young Farmers) on what makes a strong tenancy application, and Jonathan Hird (H&H Land and Estates) on how to launch or develop a farming-related business and write a business plan that works.
