Citrus Energy advise that farmers ensure they are well informed before signing long-term energy contracts. 5-year deals can mean being subject to high rates and often no get out clause. Citrus Energy recommend a 24-month term to give budgeting certainty but with the flexibility to change if we are lucky enough to see rates fall over the coming years.
