The Farmer Network has successfully bid for funding from Defra to support farmer health and welfare.  We bid as a partnership of organisations together with UTASS in the Durham Dales, the Yorkshire Agricultural Society and Field Nurse.  This funding will enable us to run outreach clinics at auction marts, organise events aimed at reducing isolation, provide one to one support and workshops on topics such as succession planning and health and safety.  We will also be supporting Field Nurse who hope to extend their services to more auction marts in Yorkshire and into Cumbria.
