LOCAL AUTHORITY GRANTS OPEN FOR APPLICATIONS

Grants worth up to £9,000 are available for businesses in the retail, hospitality and leisure sectors impacted by the most recent lockdown.  This is aimed at those paying business rates, but there is also an Additional Restrictions Grant to support other businesses and those not paying business rates.  If you haven’t previously claimed, contact your Local Authority, or call Veronica on 01524 782797 E mail: Veronica@thefarmernetwork.co.uk.

KICKSTART SCHEME NOW OPEN TO INDIVIDUAL BUSINESSES

The Kickstart Scheme provides funding for employers to create job placements for 16 to 24 year olds on Universal Credit.  It no longer requires businesses to offer a minimum of 30 job placements making it more appropriate for farmers. Click here for details.
