Defra has now published the Stewardship Scheme deadlines for this year’s applications. The Schemes will open from 18th February apart from the woodland schemes which are open all year. Deadlines are as follows:

| Mid-Tier Stewardship including Water Capital grants and Wildlife Options | · By 31st May - order an application pack & speak to your Catchment Sensitive Farming adviser about water capital grants · Application deadline 31st July |
| Woodland Creation grants and Woodland Management and tree health plans | Open for applications all year |
