AHDB has organised two events in November on the topic of the Halal market on the evening of 1st November at Ulverston Auction and at Thrimby Grange during the day on 2nd November. Speakers will talk about how lamb is performing in retail and foodservice, what Halal means and why lamb is such an important part of the Muslim communities’ dietary requirements. It will also cover how Muslim communities perceive lamb production and how we can better market lambs throughout different times of the Muslim year.
