It has been a busy year for the Farmer Network!  By the end of the year, we will have ordered over 4.5 million litres of fuel and over the past 12 months, have organised over 100 events on a hugely diverse range of topics.  This has included helping farmers understand the new ELM schemes, succession planning, slurry management, private finance and livestock health and welfare.  We have run training days about hill farming and common land for both Natural England and the National Trust and have organised events for members of the public to help them better understand farming.  This year we have also secured funding from the National Lottery to develop a new Northumberland Network which will be launching in January.  We would like to wish all our members a Happy New Year and look forward to working on your behalf in 2024.
