The 2025 Capital Grants application window opened briefly on 3 July and closed on 1 August 2025. As part of the closure announcement, applicants were informed that there may be some exceptions for those who were unable to submit their application and had sought assistance from the RPA. These applicants are in the following groups:
- 1 – Eligible ‘Started not Submitted’ – there will be the opportunity to submit applications between 15th and 31st
- 2 – Submitted applications being invited to add land/items to their application
The RPA emailed these 2 groups on 6 October to inform them they can submit a new application or add land to an existing submitted application.
There are 3 further groups of applicants:
- 3 – Ineligible ‘Started not Submitted’ applicants
- 4 - Submitted applications where the customer was unable to add land to the application due to live capital items on that land parcel
- 5 – Ineligible started not submitted applications where customer had also requested an amendment to live capital items (these customers will also be in group 3)
The RPA will be writing to applicants in group 3 this week. Those in groups 4 and 5 will be sent a bespoke email asking if they still want the amendment to their live agreement to be completed. This will be done on a case-by-case basis.
