Latest Northumberland Projects from The Farmer Network
In January 2023, The Farmer Network were successful in receiving funding from the National Lottery Communities Fund for 4 years. This funding was to implement a network in Northumberland.
Lottery funding has enabled the Northumberland team to coordinate and deliver a range of activity during the last 2 years. Since January 2024 we have held twenty farmer events with about 1,000 attendees. Topics covered include:
- animal health,
- regenerative farming practices
- succession
- rural crime
