PRACTICAL HEDGEROW MANAGEMENT

Join us for a practical hedge management workshop looking at ways to manage different stages of hedges from newly planted to 15 year old hedges along with those that need coppicing and gapping. We will also cover SFI actions for hedgerows and hedgerow trees.
Host farmer, Angela Wade from Wharfedale, has done a lot of work on hedges and would like to know more about the ongoing management. Dave Padley from The National Hedge Laying Society will run this practical session to demonstrate hedge laying and the management of hedges.
