MAKING BEEF FARMING MORE PROFITABLE

The Farmer Network invites you to a free workshop at Plumpton Cottage Farm, Ulverston, LA12 7SH

This workshop is looking at how beef farming might become more profitable by learning from management practices in the dairy industry.  Speakers include SAC Consulting and AHDB, plus farmer Tom Stobart from Croglin High Hall.  Topics include:

  • Livestock housing and welfare
  • Grazing strategies and grassland management
  • Beef market update and how measuring performance can improve profit.

A Pie & Peas lunch will be served at the end of the meeting so please book. 

For biosecurity reasons, please wear clean clothing and footwear.
