HOW CAN GRASSLAND MANAGEMENT HELP YOU REDUCE FERTILISER USE?

This short series of farm walks and talks will focus on how to make best use of your grassland to improve farm profits.  Nibthwaite Grange is a low-input livestock farm using traditional breeds and Beckside is a productive dairy farm focusing on efficient grassland management.  Together with the host farmers, James Bretherton from AgScope will help us talk through the value of soil health, multi-species swards, rotational grazing and manure management in reducing input costs.
