ADDING VALUE WITH NATIVE BREED CATTLE

Join us for a farm walk and talk at Heber Farm with host, Garry Schofield, explaining how working with native breeds has allowed him to out-winter cattle and reduce the use of inputs. We will be joined by Brent Hulena of Swaledale Butchers who will talk about how they market Garry’s beef and meat from other native breeds. Also speaking will be Ruth Dalton from Pasture For Life who will discuss the benefits of pasture fed livestock.
