Maximum Sustainable Output: Less is More in Livestock Farming
26 October 2021 @ 12:45 pm - 5:30 pm
On –farm Event at Croglin High Hall Farm, Armathwaite/ Croglin with Jimmy and Tom Stobart on Tuesday 26th October 12.45 – 5.30pm
You may be aware of the Concept of Maximum Sustainable Output: Less is More, in livestock farming that Chris Clark, of Nethergill Associates has developed.
Chris and others involved in the ‘Carbon Connects’ project are working with Jimmy and Tom Stobart to practically test the MSO business model in the real world. The farm’s 2011-12 annual accounts have been taken as the baseline to understand how practical farming changes, as they move toward MSO, have affected profitability. Insights from this work will be shared with farmers at the event.
