Friends of the Lake District are the only organisation in Cumbria dedicated to looking after its landscape. We are a membership charity and cover the whole of Cumbria. We campaign for enhanced landscapes through policy work, action on the ground on our own 11 properties, and engaging with people through our projects and properties. We can conduct surveys such as FEPs, give landscape and planning advice, or help with common land applications for works.
