Behind the Scenery - Lakeland hill farms through the seasons

Over the years 'Behind the Scenery' DVD's have proved to be very popular.The films are a snapshot of the life of two Lakeland hill farming families throughout the four seasons of 2007. They provide a unique insight into the daily life of the farmers and show how the seasons unfold and influence farming practices.

Walna Scar Shepherds Meet

The Walna Scar DVD celebrates the 2008 centenary event of the Walna Scar Shepherds Meet. Shepherds Meets are a method of returning stray sheep to thier owners, the stray sheep are gathered together to be identified and claimed by their rightful owners and the meets are also occasions for socialising.

The DVD includes some unaccompanied Lakeland folk songs which have been handed down through generations of farmers and has been filmed and produced exclusively by the Farmer Network.
